They have been called the soul of Belfast, and it is easy to hear why. The Belfast Community Gospel Choir bring passion, energy and a good deal of laughter to every stage they step on. Foot-stomping, hand-clapping music. Classic songs you already know. Joy that is hard not to catch. Led by their founder and director, Dr. Marie Lacey MBE, the choir produces a sound that is full and dynamic, and a room that does not stay still for long.
Tea, coffee and buns will be available throughout the evening, and you're welcome to bring your own chair. Just don't be surprised if the music has you up on your feet before the night is over.
