A Small Matter of Impending Catastrophe is about to be unleashed and it's all thanks to YOU.
After the success of The Haunted House on Hollow Hill last year, my editor called me and said “Hey! They loved it! Wanna do another?”
Of course I said yes, and so my first instinct was to stick to a murder mystery format for the follow-up.
But where’s the fun in following format?
Instead, I gathered together all of your comments, over various platforms (You see? Commenting on stuff really does have an impact!), and I broke down what you seemed to be most enjoying about Skulduggery as an audio drama.
Tricky plotting and clever clues are fine and dandy in a book, but in half hour episodes, a week apart, it’s very easy to forget the smaller details. It was the interactions between characters, however, that were getting more of a reaction out of you, so that’s what I built the story around for ASMOIC.
I basically just allowed myself to have as much fun as possible — which is always my preferred way of doing ANYTHING.
