The inaugural Scary Story Challenge kicks off on October 31st and will challenge writers worldwide to create scary short stories in 48 hours. Writers will be assigned a scare, a character, and an action for their stories, which must be scary and can be no longer than 400 words. Feedback from the judges is provided for every submission, writers keep all the rights to the stories they create, and the winners will receive over $10,000 in cash prizes.
