Bruiser Newsletter May Edition Welcome to our May newsletter! We’ve been busy gearing up for an exciting Summer and Autumn season of activity for you all! Check out everything we’ve got coming up below! SUMMER INTERNSHIP CALL-OUT Looking to gain hands-on experience in the professional theatre sector? Bruiser are offering a range of internship opportunities across our Bruiser Arts Academy Summer Programmes, delivered at The MAC and Queen’s University Belfast. These unpaid learning placements are open to college and university students, recent graduates, and early-career artists (18+) who are keen to observe, assist, and develop practical skills in a professional theatre environment. We’re particularly interested in applicants with an interest in directing, facilitation, or technical theatre, though all theatre backgrounds are welcome. Programme dates: Summer School (ages 12–18): 14–24 July 2026 Graduate Academy (18+): 10–22 August 2026 Fostering Network Summer School: 10–15 August 2026 📅 Apply by: Friday 12 June, 4.00pm (We recommend applying early, as places may fill quickly.)
