We’re excited to welcome Casting Director Tineka Becker, CSA for a special Audition Intensive designed to help you sharpen their audition skills while also gaining valuable insight into the business side of the industry. Tineka will put a very strong emphasis on the business side of the industry, in addition to audition technique. “I think it's important for actors to be able to pick my brain and really take advantage of having a casting director in the room. The goal is to help demystify the casting process a bit and give everyone some food for thought on how they can be more proactive in their careers.” Because of that, we will start with an hour of Q&A before getting into the scenes. This gives actors the chance to ask questions about the industry, the audition process, and anything else they’re curious about. Tineka will also incorporate notes on script analysis and scene deconstruction so you can better approach your sides for your next audition! During her time in the features casting department at Paramount Pictures, she helped to cast roles in World War Z, Paranormal Activity 3, Not Fade Away and The Dictator.
