GRAND PRIZE WINNER - PRODUCTION GRANT TO BEITA, WITH LOVE Written by Abdullah Kokash Barred from entering Palestine due to their refugee status, a group of naive kids executes a wild scheme to frame their parents for petty crimes and turn them in to ICE, convinced that deportation is a free ticket to the West Bank. Abdullah wins a $15,000 cash production grant, free camera equipment for the duration of the shoot from ARRI Rental, mentorship from Oscar-nominated producer Maria Gracia Turgeon, and more! FINISHING FUNDS WINNER FIFTY KILOMETERS FROM THE SHENZHEN-ZHONGSHAN BRIDGE, TWO DRUNKEN PIGEONS ARE DANCING Written & directed by Zheng Adam Yuan After twenty years apart, Chuang and his former lover Lizhen reunite in Zhongshan. As they wander through the old town, memory, dream, and reality begin to overlap. Blending archival footage from Chuang’s youth with fiction, the film traces a polyphonic journey that mirrors both a life lived and a city in decline. Adam wins a $4,000 cash finishing funds grant, mentorship from Oscar-nominated producer Maria Gracia Turgeon, a film festival strategy package from Kimberley Browning, and more!
