SG Casting are working on a Spanish produced documentary about Father Michael McGivney. This project is a co-production between Spain & the US. We are tasked with finding two actors to bring McGivney to life at different stages of his life, aged 15 & at 35. As this is a reconstruction, physical resemblance is paramount.
We have attached images of McGivney at age 15 and 35. If you have anyone on your books that you feel hold a strong physical resemblance to him, we would love to hear from them.
In the first instance we will be presenting people based on headshots & materials. We will then follow up with shortlisted talent for a self-tape.
For now, please let us know if you are happy for us to present your client for consideration.
Talent will be bringing reconstructions to life. Talent must have an Irish accent.

Production location: Spain with flights, accommodation & per diems covered by production.

Budget: Young talent: €1,000 for approx. 3 – 4 shooting days.
Adult Talent: €4,000 for approx. 10 shooting days.
Father Michael Joseph McGivney (1852–1890) was an American Catholic priest based in New Haven, Connecticut, born to Irish immigrant parents. He founded the Knights of Columbus as a mutual aid and insurance organisation, particularly for immigrants and their families, which went on to become the world's largest Catholic fraternal organisation.
McGivney founded the Knights of Columbus on March 29, 1882, while serving as assistant pastor at Saint Mary's Church in New Haven, starting with a small group of parishioners. He was essentially decades ahead of his time in terms of social welfare thinking.
