The Man Who Left The Titanic
Fri 1 May | 8pm | £15 | £12.50 (conc)

On April 15th, 1912, the Titanic slipped below the frigid waters of the Atlantic. Yet J. Bruce Ismay, managing director of the White Star Line, stepped into a lifeboat and sailed away from the stricken ship, sailed away from his passengers, sailed away from the cries and screams and tears. ‘The Man Who Left The Titanic’ evokes that terrible voyage and asks whether Bruce Ismay only did what any of us might have done in the same circumstances, or should his actions that night consign his name to infamy? Was he a coward, or merely human?

Family Of Country Concert
Sat 2 May | 8pm | £23.50

With hits such as ‘Streets Of Promise’, ‘Dancing With The Fisherman’ and ‘My Connemara Marble Ring’, The Murphys return with a new concert show that not only includes all their self-penned hits, but also a wonderful set list of classic country music favourites, with a modern twist.

With a beautiful new set design and The Murphys with their full band, this will be a unique night of family music and Country classics as you have never heard them before.
Clubsound
Sun 3 May | 8pm | £25

Clubsound are the only showband left on the road today! A brilliant bunch of musicians led by the inimitable George Jones, Clubsound kept us laughing (mostly at ourselves) through the dark days of our "troubles". Brilliant sketches like Shankill Airways, Andy McFadden and his funky wee 5-piece band, Daddy’s wee balloons, the reluctant exile Belfast Belfast will all be included in the show. Also showcased will be the absolutely brilliant musicianship of this legendary band. Clubsound are quite simply our own national treasure so let’s make this tour one to remember.

Kimmie Rhodes
Thurs 7 May | 8pm | £20

In 1996 Kimmie Rhodes released ‘West Texas Heaven’, an album that marked a groundbreaking moment in her career as a singer-songwriter to critical acclaim. It featured duets with fellow Texans Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Townes Van Zandt, and was recorded at Willie’s Pedernales Studio in Austin, and Jack Clements legendary Cowboy Arms Hotel and Recording Spa in Nashville. Now she is re-releasing the album, which has been re-mixed and re-mastered, along with some rare bonus ‘out take’ tracks from the original sessions and a since recorded duet with Emmylou Harris and Beth Nielson Chapman.
Proud Mary

The Rain at the End of the Summer
Sat 16 May | 8pm | £20

A story set during an exceptionally hot Irish summer; it deals with an unplanned pregnancy that brings disorder to the otherwise amicable O’Brien household. The various characters are torn apart by their beliefs in the best way to deal with the pregnancy. Controversial in its day with its exploration of the class system, sexual liberation and the sanctity of family and marriage, its power hasn’t been diminished by time. Keen but never unkind, the attention of one of Ireland’s best-loved writers falls on human vanities and frailties of all kinds.
