Le mail Stu, Last night I played bass in Rob DeBoer’s band, opening up for the legendary Chic & Nile Rodgers in the Iveagh Gardens in Dublin’s city centre. What a great experience. We couldn’t get that close to Nile but he shouted ‘great job’ at us. Which was nice. Rob is a good friend - a fellow Irish-Dutch / Dutch-Irish man - and i’m proud to have been playing with him since the start of his project, seeing how it’s grown and developed into supporting this legendary musician and hit maker.
