"Good morning, everyone.
I'm looking for a few actors, in Dublin, for a play on the 29th and 30th of July for my Master's artefact. There will be a few rehearsals happening throughout the month of July to be booked according to everyone availability.
The play is called americaNO and it is a social commentary on how the US utilizes of its position in power in the world to exclude and diminish the other countries of the American continent.
Characters:
Gabriel/Gabriela: an Uruguayan immigrant. Was to attend the event with their partner, but is there alone. Means well and tries to de-escalate the conflict. They are worried and do not pay much attention to the topic. Speak English and Spanish.
Chef: Works as a cook, has a Master in International Relations. Completely unhappy with their job and where they are at the moment. They work as a mediator during the play. Married with a Spanish passport holder, from Brazil.
Val: an Argentinean immigrant. Her family came from money, but due to the devaluation of the Peso, she has recently struggled with money, what made her discover the value of work and her time. Speak English and Spanish.
It is a no budget performance but the actors will be paid a small fee.
