Kaouther Ben Hania's film broke records in Venice where it received the longest standing ovation ever recorded at the festival. The docudrama uses the audio of actual phone conversations to tell the story behind the murder of Hind Rajab, a six-year-old girl in Gaza. "Discomfiting and emotionally devastating in the extreme, Tunisian director Kaouther Ben Hania’s dramatised account of Hind’s death is utterly essential film-making." ★★★★★ London Evening Standard
