RTS London Convention 2026

Tuesday 29 September at King's Place   The biennial event will be chaired by Tara Erer, Head of Northern European Originals, Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios. Titled United in Change: If Not Now, When?, the 2026 Convention will focus on the urgent need for collaboration and decisive action across the media and television industry – a rallying cry for the sector to come together, embrace change, and actively shape the future rather than wait for it to happen. The theme reflects a shared belief that this is a moment to energise and embolden our industry, not one to fear. The first set of industry leaders confirmed to speak at the Convention includes: Kelly Day, VP, Prime Video International; Priya Dogra, Chief Executive of Channel 4; Dame Carolyn McCall, CEO, ITV and Reemah Sakaan, President of 5.  Booking information Early bird tickets are sold out. Steve Hewlett Memorial Lecture 2026 delivered by Lewis Goodall

Lewis Goodall is Analysis & Investigations Editor at Global and co-presenter of The News Agents podcast. The net proceeds from the event will go to the Steve Hewlett Scholarship Fund, which provides financial assistance to journalism and TV production students from low-income backgrounds.
