Hello and welcome to the latest edition of our IFI Weekly Newsletter.

Opening this week in-cinema is Jean-Luc Godard's uncompromising masterpiece Contempt (Le Mépris), Paul Mescal-starring opera Carmen, Ridley Scott's 1991 classic Thelma & Louise and Reality, a verbatim replay of a FBI interrogation.

Our newest season Paul Newman: American Icon, kicks off this week with Somebody Up There Likes Me on Saturday 3rd and The Long, Hot Summer on Sunday 4th, Cat On a Hot Tin Roof on Wednesday 7th.
