'BIGFOOT' ARTS AND CRAFTS WITH TRISHA MCNALLY: Suitable for ages 6-11
Come along and create wonderful crafts. Create your own puppet out of paper. Learn how to design and make a unique puppet character inspired by BIGFOOT!

ROBIN AND THE HOODS (Q&A WITH DIRECTOR PHIL HAWKINS AND ACTORS DARCEY EWART & EDDISON BURCH):
Fired by her imagination, Robin is the bright-eyed leader of a group of kids, the Hoods, who love to play fantasy games on a patch of land they nickname The Kingdom. While their biggest concern is a rival gang looking to take over their domain, things get serious when plans emerge to develop the area that’s their playground into a new leisure facility for the town. Faced with the ruthless spokesperson ‘Clipboard’, Robin and her friends must find a way to save their play area before it’s too late.

Exploring the fundamentals of filmmaking from script to screen, Lee will discuss his career making ‘genre’ cinema, offering tips and advice to next-gen filmmakers.

ABOMINABLE (Fancy Dress Screening):
Three teenagers must help a Yeti return to his family while avoiding a wealthy businessman and a zoologist who want him for their own nefarious needs. Come dressed as an intrepid adventurer, or a heroic explorer or why not come as a scary, hairy ABOMINABLE Yeti! Fancy dress is optional - Spot prizes on the day.

YUKEE LIVE! (MUSIC AND PERFORMANCE):
Yukee Live! is an interactive performance based around the new animated CBeebies show, Yukee, that explores simple music learning outcomes such as beat and timbre. Musicians and performers will play underscore music live along to Yukee episodes and using sing-a-longs and games they’ll engage the audience with early music education. The event will conclude with a Q&A with the voice of Yukee herself Nina He.

Last night, we held the Northern Ireland Special Preview of ‘The Wild Robot’ at the ODEON Belfast as part of our Cinemagic Film Festival, ahead of its cinematic release on October 18th! Audiences were treated to an unforgettable adventure featuring stunning visuals, hilarious moments, and a heartwarming story of self-discovery. With an all-star voice cast including Pedro Pascal, Catherine O’Hara, Lupita Nyong’o, Stephanie Hsu, and Bill Nighy, this DreamWorks Animation film captivated everyone from start to finish.
