On Wednesday 1st July, at the 12 noon lunchtime learning session, we are delighted that Dr. Cathy Bollaert will be sharing the key learning from Rethinking Community Relations: Faith, Belonging and Reconciliation in Contemporary Northern Ireland, a scoping study exploring how reconciliation and good relations work can be renewed in light of changing forms of division, exclusion and belonging.
The study directly addresses the modern challenges of peacebuilding.
Contemporary discourse has shifted past traditional binary paradigms to centre on lived theology, multi-cultural belonging, and structural accountability across both religious and civic sectors.
The session will focus on the report’s five proposed shifts for practice and invites discussion on what these might mean for CRC-funded community relations work today.
Following Cathys input there will be an opportunity for Q&A .
The online zoom session begins at 12 noon for approx. 40mins.
