Comber Earlies Food Festival 
On Saturday 25 June, from 10am - 4pm enjoy a wealth of artisan food and drink stalls, celebrity chef demos by Theo Randall and Paula McIntyre, as well as plenty to keep the kiddies entertained, with brass bands, a vintage tractor display and a hunt for the golden potatoes!
Come along and join the celebration of fantastic local produce and lots of family fun!

Fantastic food and drink will be on offer, with up to 40 food stalls featuring local artisan producers, an artisan bar with the best of local distilleries and breweries, plus cookery demonstrations showcasing the famous Comber Early potato.

*This is a FREE event - no ticket required (some charges will apply to funfair rides).

Celebrity Chef Demonstrations by Theo Randall
Saturday Kitchen regular, Theo Randall, will headline this year’s Comber Earlies Food Festival. Come along to Comber, where Theo will delight us with demos throughout the day, sharing his culinary skills for you to pick up some helpful hints and tips to try at home.

We are thrilled that Paula McIntyre, author, TV presenter and one of Northern Ireland's leading chefs, is joining us to show off her culinary talents. Paula has given us a sneak peek of her cooking in action, check out her recipe for Comber Earlies with Young Buck and lovage butter, scallions and crispy bacon.

That's not all...
Visitors to the festival will be in for a treat when local chef Jim Mulholland and lecturers and students from SERC will be sharing their take on cooking the prized potato, rustling up their usual creative dishes - look out for Combonara!

The Comber Earlies Food Festival is part of Taste Summer in Ards and North Down, which runs until Sunday 3 July and features a series of free and ticketed events showcasing the very best of Ards and North Down’s food and drink.

Sunday 26 June | 2pm - 4pm | Island Hill | Free

Take part in National Picnic Week, with an afternoon picnic at Island Hill, Comber.

This event is free to attend, bring your own picnic and enjoy plenty of family fun, from music, face painting and traditional picnic games.
