View this email in your browser Hello there! It gives me great delight to say I'm back with news of upcoming gigs for you - Yaaaayyy! Thanks for bearing with me. First off, I wanted to let you know - before anyone else - about a pretty special one in a small, intimate setting and limited ticket availability. My good friend Buddy Mondlock, Grammy award-aiming writer of Coming Down in the Rain (Nanci Griffith) amongst other great songs, is coming over from Nashville to do some shows and he and I are getting together to do a special combo one in the Spy Pond Studio in Newcastle, Co Down on Friday 15th May  8pm. (Please ignore the typo on this poster - it's definitely Friday 15th May!!) I did a lovely gig here before with my band and it was a special night.  Buddy is a wonderful songwriter and performer and this is a rare chance to get to see him in this part of the world. You can get the tickets HERE I will also be performing at the brilliant revived Live at The Tap Room music sessions at The Donard Bar Newcastle from 4pm - 6pm on Sunday 3rd May, and I am SO looking forward to returning to the American Bar, Belfast to play the legendary Saturday/Sunday Afternoon Sessions on Sunday 28th June from 2pm -5pm.  You can get you tickets for that HERE In these two gigs I will be accompanied by Cian McGrory on guitar and Niall Lynch on fiddle - so I can't wait! Save the Date! I'm excited to let you know in advance, I will be paying the Down Arts Centre, Downpatrick with a full band on Saturday 7th November. It is such a gorgeous venue for a night out and tickets will be going on sale for that soon. It will just be great to meet up with you all again and play some new songs for you! While these first few gigs are near home for me, I have been working away on some lovely things in the background (-amid the building work!) - and news of tour dates and gigs in other places will be coming soon! I'm hoping to reconnect soon with you great people I met much further afield on my last tour gigs, and all those fantastic shows opening for Paul Brady!  In the meantime, if there’s a place or lovely venue you know where you’d like to see me play, do drop me a wee note and we'll see can I get there!
