Principal photography began on Small Things Like These in Wicklow early last week. Cast and crew arrived in New Ross, County Wexford on Sunday for four weeks of filming.

Eddie Redmayne to lead Ronan Bennett’s TV Adaptation of Day of the Jackal
The series is based on the 1971 Frederick Forsyth novel about an assassin contracted to kill French president Charles de Gaulle, as well as the subsequent 1973 film adaptation of the same name from Universal Pictures.
Barry Keoghan to play opposite Paul Mescal in Ridley Scott’s Gladiator sequel
Barry Keoghan is reported to be playing Emperor Geta in Ridley Scott’s highly anticipated Gladiator Sequel. Paul Mescal’s casting as the film’s protagonist Lucius was confirmed last year. 
Applications now open for broadcasting course from Creative Futures Academy
RTÉ and Virgin Media Television, together with Creative Futures Academy (CFA) have announced applications are now open for their brand new course in IADT, Professional Training for Live Studio Broadcasts. 
Horror film One of Us starring Heartstopper's Kit Connor wraps filming in Northern Ireland
Emmy-winner Kit Connor (Heartstopper, Rocketman) leads the cast in One of Us. The new mystery-horror film began filming in late February, and wrapped in Belfast last week. 
Ryan Tubridy to step down from Late Late Show
Tubridy will present his final Late Late Show at 9.35pm on Friday 26th May on RTÉ One. He first began hosting the late night talk show in 2009. No decision has been made on his successor as of yet.

We caught up with Andrew Legge, the director of LOLA, ahead of the film’s release in Irish cinemas. Principal photography began in late 2020, and the film was shot on location in Ireland.
