Studio Brick
May 2011 #1
Dear friends,
It's been quite a while since you've heard from us. It has been a busy year so far - as some of you may have noticed, we are no longer in the Grand Central building in Pioneer Sq. The studio has moved to a new location in the INScape building! While the studio itself is not currently open for exhibitions, here's how you can catch the Brick artists and their work this Spring:
Stay tuned, we have more exciting news coming soon!
La Figa: Visions of Form and Food
Matt Freedman's new book, La Figa: Visions of Food and Form is now available for pre-order (visit the link to order). Featuring a spectacular collection of sensual photography -- models wearing nothing but the edible creations of James Beard award-winning chef Tiberio Simone, La Figa is the culmination of a five-year collaboration between the two.
The book will have its world premiere this year at the Seattle Erotic Art Festival, the weekend of May 20-22. Join Tiberio and Matt at the La Figa Café to enjoy a selection of their photography, taste some of Tiberio’s chocolate treats, get your book signed, or even become the art as Tiberio recreates pieces from La Figa using SEAF visitors as his models.

Best regards,
Thomas Park
