I had sent out a teaser in December of an upcoming event on Monday January 27th .. I now have more details…
This will be held at AMV Chelsea Studios between 5PM and 9PM.. An RSVP is mandatory for entry. We have sent out an initial batch of invitations and another batch is going out in next day or so. IF you don’t receive an invite but would like to attend then just send me an e-mail and I will get official invite which has all details over to you. Same goes for any friends or coworkers .
While this isn’t aimed specifically at the theatrical community there is technology which will be of interest to you being shown PLUS it’s a great opportunity to meet many of the Studer R&D team and product managers from Switzerland and Andy Trott who is in charge of Harman’s Mixer Group (Soundcraft and Studer). Not to mention the entire US Studer Staff including Rob Lewis, Mike Franklin, James Tunnicliffe, Paul Shorter Katy Templeman Holmes, and of course myself (fresh off a plane from Winter NAMM) will be present.
We expect an interesting mix of folk from the Broadcast, theater, and live sound fields plus open bar and hor d’ ouvres and a short performance by Meshell Ndegeocello. It should be a good night.. I hope you can join us! AND for those that can’t we are scheduling appointments from the morning into the early afternoon on Tuesday, January 28th so if you can’t make the bash then make sure to schedule a time slot on Tuesday and we can give you the skinny on what our Swiss brethren have been working on …
Happy New Year and Hope to see you soon.
