Hi guys,
If it happens in Virtual Vista, it will happen with the Vista Compact Remote as it runs the same software.
I’m re-testing this with Vista 5.2.02 to see if anything has changed. I’ll let you know.
Cheers,
James

I’ve done some more digging on this issue of actors “flickering” in the display, but not being able to select them.
Michael is correct that you have to make sure that VV is set up for “TheatreMode=Yes” in the D950System.ini file.
However, there seems to be an issue with how VV synchronizes with the desk: as you create actors on the desk, they do not get sync’ed to VV automatically. When they exist on the desk, but not in VV, then you cannot select them on the desk either.
This can be fixed by using the Option -> Refresh Virtual Vista command.
Also, if you create 10 actors, resync VV (re-launch) and then create 10 more actors, you will find that only the first 10 are available to you – alphabetically sorted, so you may have access to older ones and newer ones, but never more than 10. Again, Option -> Refresh Virtual Vista takes care of this.
Cheers,
James
