MSU's Fall Higher Education Rally

MSU is having a higher education rally in October. Inviting Granholm,
Bernero, and Synder. Invites all to attend. More information on the
SAM calendar.

They'll have buses from campus to the rally and they'll be having free
pizza, all in attempts to get more students at the rally. MSU were
networking and trying to get a hold of the candidates so they could
come to the rally. USA Today will be able to send MSU a new reporter
for the conference. We encourage the other 14 public universities to
get students at the rally and in Lansing. MSU wants a big showing of
students to the rally.
Any tips for MSU to have some of your schools members to get there?
UMD: Go to different organizations and see if they'll attend.
MTU: Us our resources like friends, Greeks, etc. Our schools isn't
very political though.
LSSU: We're very politcally active. We send our students to Lansing
twice a year. It'll be very difficult for us to send some people from
our school, it would probably be less than ten.
OU: We can help you out with PR about the event. We could tell our
students about that. It would be hard to send some of our students out
to Lansing via busses.
EMU: We could possibly team up with schools around our area. I'm a big
fan of editorials.

MSU: If you can fill the bus, I'll see if ASMSU will fund the buses
for your schools. We'll keep you in contact about that.
