First Environmental Project

I know that i have already mentioned the project to get recycling cans
around the school property. Is this what we want to do? Is there
other activities that would be more worth while?

One of my other project ideas that i have been thinking about is to
have everyone shut off their lights at the same time on the same night
to protest pollution. Hong Kong, Australia, and Paris did it to some
success. What ideas do we have for this group that can make an impact
and get us known in the community?

Maybe we could get a whole bunch of tree seeds and go plant them
somewhere that is sparsely populated...and we could pick up trash in
areas along the road that have a ridiculous amount of debris around
it.

i do like the idea about picking up along the road. i'm sure we've all
seen the signs saying this road is adopted by "whichever group". why
don't we find out about this and select one for the club to adopt?
