Hi everyone,
My name is William Li, and I'm a fourth-year engineering student. I am
the Student Campus Representative for an organization called the Tetra
Society of North America. The Tetra Society is a group of volunteer
engineers, technicians, and health professionals who create assistive
devices for people with disabilities. Some examples can be found at
our
http://www.tetrasociety.org/students/.
We want to better understand the assistive device/technology needs and
requirements of youth and young adults. As a result, I've put together
a survey to determine whether the level of interest among students for
Tetra's volunteer services. If you are interested in completing this
survey or can pass it on anyone who is interested in completing it,
that would be very helpful. The survey is located at
http://individual.utoronto.ca/williamli/.
Tetra is also interested in volunteers with technical skills or
relevant experience who want to help build the assistive devices
requested by students and others in the community. If you are
interested in volunteering, let me know.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
Thanks,
William Li
