You are cordially invited to the following annual event.  Please feel free to extend this invitation to any parties who might be interested.

The Critical Disability Studies Students' Association (CDSSA) at York University is hosting the Fourth Annual Critical Disability Studies Graduate Student Conference from Friday May 2nd until Saturday May 3rd, 2008.  

The purpose of the conference is to bring together researchers, practitioners, policy makers and activists to share and debate research, ideas and developments within disability studies. A wide variety of topics will be presented, such as educational and social policy, literary analysis, cultural representations in visual images and media, expression of lived experience through dance.  

The conference is free and open to the public.  We encourage interested persons to register by April 25th, 2008 as there is limited space.
