Hi All,

Please spread this far and wide. The Friends of the Earth Internships are a great chance to get a broad range of experience in an exciting Environmental NGO.  I'm sure some of you may know someone who would be interested or may be interested yourselves.

Thanks
Molly

The Organization
Friends of the Earth (www.foe.ie) is the Irish member of the world's largest network of environmental groups with over one million supporters and campaigners organized in 76 countries (www.foei.org). Launched in Ireland in 2004, our priority campaign is on climate change. As well as our own campaign for a law to ensure action to reduce climate pollution, Friends of the Earth plays a leading role in the Stop Climate Chaos coalition which brings together environmental, overseas aid and faith groups to campaign for Ireland to do its fair share to prevent runaway climate change.

The Commitment
These posts are for 20 hours a week for six months (the duration is negotiable and can also be extended in certain circumstances). The allocation of weekly hours will be agreed between each intern and their line manager. This internships are on a voluntary basis. However, there will be a very small allowance to cover transport and lunch.
