The October Students for Human Rights Journal Club is coming soon!

Who: YOU

What: Discuss Pediatric HIV in Kenya and programmatic improvements for HIV care delivery

Where: Abby Nimz’s house 12926 E Park Lane Dr. Aurora 80011 (5 min from campus)

When: Tuesday October 27th at 6:30

As usual, bring food and/or drink to share!

For this meeting, we will have Dr. Lisa Abuogi as a guest. She is a pediatrician at Children’s and has worked extensively in Kenya. It will be great to hear about improvements in HIV care and ongoing challenges from an expert, should start a great discussion!

Attached to this email you will find two articles- one is an overview of current advances and challenges for pediatric HIV care and the other is a study done in Kenya to rapidly increase access to HIV services.
