There is a Senate vote next week on whether the Trans-Pacific Partnership international trade agreement will be fast-tracked into law without discussion and without the contents made public. Leaked copies of the bill show that it will severely endanger access to medications in poor countries and will set a dangerous precedent, and it has been vehemently opposed by groups like Doctors Without Borders (
click here). I've written a letter to Senator Michael Bennet asking him to vote against this fast-track.
I'd like to put as many med student names on the letter as possible. Take a look and, if you want me to add your name, reply to this email. The letter is attached.
I'm delivering it this Monday to a Bennet advisor I know, so let me know by MONDAY AT NOON! Edits are of course welcome.
