The time has come!
The first Students for Human Rights Journal Club is officially scheduled, and soon we will all be reunited around great friends, exhilarating conversations, and the usual excess of beer.
Here are the details.....
Who: YOU
What: Discuss humanitarian crises, health, and human rights!
Where: Kathryn Guinn's House, 1638 Clermont St., Denver
When: Thursday September 17th at 6:30pm
As usual, bring food and/or drink to share!
For this first meeting, we will be doing a meet-and-greet of new members (and the lost souls of last years MSIIIs!) and having a self-guided discussion on refugee issues and healthcare. Attached to this email you will find three articles- they are all pretty short and should provide some great conversation! Two discuss general concepts of refugee issues and healthcare. The third provides specific insight on the Syrian crisis.
