Spread it close and narrow (appropriate given our density here on the hill)!

Suggestions/changes welcome, but send them soon. Posters go to printers Thursday afternoon. This is just based off of our original coffee hour description, with some modifications. I added the word "creative."

STUDENT ORGANIZING WORKSHOP & DISCUSSION

What does democracy look like? What challenges do we face as a campus and a student body? How do we address these on a political level?

Boston historian and political organizer Patrick St. John (founder of www.forstudentpower.org) will give a workshop titled "Building Student Power to Win Victories and Change the World." Part of the workshop will be a facilitated discussion to find out how a student political formation at Bennington could look, and what kinds of issues it would address.

Student Against Oppression is a new student group that supports affirming, creative and non-hierarchical political action on campus and beyond.

The workshop will begin in the CAPA Symposium at 4PM on Sunday, March 25th.

Food and drink will be sold at the event to support the new student co-op initiative. EDIT (<-- pending approval) EDIT

At 3PM, all are invited to participate Students Against Oppression's regular weekly meeting.
