Where: Somewhere in Bennington, Vermont.
When: Saturday, March 24
Who: Anyone interested in investigating corporate messages where they appear
How: If you are interested in participating in (or recording) the performance on Saturday 24th, come to Downcommons at 1PM on Monday (tomorrow).
What:
Corporate Commands is an ongoing series of public space performances based on corporate advertisements in the form of the imperative such as "Just Do It", "Turn on the Future", "Think different", etc. The Institute for Infinitely Small Things performs these corporate commands where they occur in the urban landscape, enacting each command as literally as possible. Past performances include: "Rollover",
"Say it with Flowers", "Become a Believer", and "Enjoy Life".
More:
The Bennington, Vermont iteration is being arranged as part of The Festival of Wit, a one-weekend festival from March 30-April1 about comedic interventions that will bring The Institute for Infinitely Small Things, 'Billionaires for Bush' progenitor Andrew Boyd, and others to campus.
