Speaking of the interest rate; I think its interesting that in the face of
the federal reserve keeping the prime index below 1. The gov is broke &
they need cash: repubs fight against tax hikes & student loans is the
bitch" issue that it seems until now, no one pays attention to. The problem
is that the feds have run out ways to continue - the student loans are the
last grab. The interest btw is for NEW loans or loans not consolidated:
those w/o fixed rate.
