Dear San Diego Veteran,

As you probably know, the annual elections for officers of the San Diego County United Veterans Council will occur tomorrow (19 December) at our monthly meeting, which will convene at 0900 at the Veterans Museum and Memorial Center, 2115 Park Blvd, San Diego, CA 92101.

For the first time in two years, I have opposition. Joe Brunner, my predecessor as chairman, is running to regain that seat and he may be able to garner substantial support from among his Veterans Week Committee and VFW post.

This is to humbly ask that you attend this important meeting and may I please ask that you support my candidacy for the chairmanship. I still have goals that I would like to accomplish and in order to work toward them, I would very much like to continue to serve as chairman of the UVC.

Regardless of whether you can attend, perhaps you can pass this along to your veteran friends on my behalf. I have attached a short biography and a longer item which describes my community service activities, which IO think will demonstrate my commitment to community and veterans.
