Hello, everyone,
Here is the schedule for Club Rush. I apologize for the short and sweet message, but I have a ton of homework and a test tomorrow that won’t study for itself, no matter how hard I try to convince it. I hope everyone had/is having a great weekend and I will see you soon.

p.s. For those of you not familiar with how an editgrid works - all you need to do is type your name into a time slot during which you can help man the club rush booth. The spreadsheet automatically saves itself. Please don't type into a space that has already been used.

Also - attached are the minutes from the last meeting for those of you who couldn't make it (or for those of you who need a reminder about the events we will have going on this semester).

Thanks!
Dr. Huff

Hello, everyone,
If you are receiving a message from me for the first time, it is because you showed enough interest at club rush to give your email information (or I read/entered the email address incorrectly). In either case, hello and welcome to the Student Sustainability Collective!
It is difficult for me to describe what we do in an email. I can’t speak for anyone else in the club (even though some are the same way), but I am more efficient and get much more done in-person or hands-on than through digital contact. To learn more about us than was told to you at the booth, you would really have to meet us. If you wish to join us for our weekly meetings, you can find us in the RCC Community Garden (located behind the Digital Library right next to the Math and Science building) at 12:45pm every Thursday under the gazebo. We may need to expand a bit if everyone on the list comes, but we have extra seating! Stop by and say hello tomorrow if you are interested. I will be the awkward one holding a binder who talks a bit too much.
        Now, on to club business...

Agenda for Thursday, March 6:
-Club Rush...Success?
        -Intros
-Back to School BBQ
        -TODAY! 12pm-2pm and 4pm-6pm
        -Continuation of club rush
-I will be wearing my Tiger Pride gear
        -Last-minute booth setup?
-Health/Fitness Fair
-Thursday, March 13, from 10am-2pm along Terracina
-May be too late to have a booth, but I emailed Sabrina to double-check
-Topic idea in case we can join?
-St. Patrick’s Day event
        -Monday, March 17, from 12pm-2pm and 4pm to 6pm
-I don’t have details because I missed the ICC meeting getting ready for club rush (and
the emails I get from ICC are not descriptive enough to build an agenda)
-Textiles for Galapagos trip
-Bring in old fabrics (shirts, pants, sweaters, tents, etc.) to help fund the students going
          to Galapagos
-Ripple Textiles will recycle/repurpose items donated
        -Deadline: Thursday, March 20
-Student Leadership Conference
-Workshops for leadership development, student resources, mental health, transfer...
        -Saturday, March 29, from 7:30am-4pm
        -$15 Admission for RCC Students
-$25 for lunch (In-N-Out), Student Leadership shirt, and “swag” (whatever that means)
-Earth Day Event
-Mini Eco Fair (hopefully on April 22)
-Movie, speaker, scholarships, and club $$$
-Movie days
-Continue to think of good movie ideas for the semester
-I will make an editgrid soon where you can share your ideas and best available days

*I believe that will be everything on the agenda for tomorrow, Thursday, March 6. If anything is incorrect or missing, please reply with the fix/addition. Also, if you are unable to make it to the meetings, you can always come to the garden on Sundays at 1pm for a garden work (therapy) day and/or participate in any of the events throughout the semester. Be sure to pay your student fees and log all of your participation hours. I’m off to bed to get prepared for tomorrow.

I hope to see you soon,
Dan Cannon

P.S. Can someone please put the agenda on the facebook page? I haven’t been able to log in.
