A couple of teams have asked about where to get the flyingSnakes_output.dat file, you will need to run the python script forceCoeffsVsAOA.py

You must submit:
- flyingSnakes_output.dat (which should include runtime information)
- all figures generated from post processing scripts
- for the largest case with 994K, please submit the plot generated, forceCoeff.dat file and runtime.

Hi everyone,

The 'flyingSnake_ouput.dat' file is located in the parent folder. It should contain the time-averaged coefficients of the 4 cases with a mesh size around 450K cells. It contains also the accumulated runtime of the 4 cases.

In every case folder, there is a 'postProcessing' sub-folder that contains all the '.png' files that Veronica is asking.

For the largest case (994K cells), the plots can be found in the 'postProcessing' sub-folder and the 'forceCoeffs.dat' in 'postProcessing/forceCoeffs/0/.'. The runtime should be written in the log file.

If you managed to run the 4 'small' cases and were able to run the Python script, you should get two png file of the time-averaged lift coefficient and time-averaged drag coefficient versus the angle of attack.
Open those files, and see what the flying snake is capable of!

Olivier
