Faculty of Engineering- King Abdulaziz University

Position Availability

The Faculty of Engineering (FOE)/ male section, at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is now recruiting for the following positions:

·         Professor

·         Associate Professor

·         Assistant Professor

·         Lecturer

·         Lab Technician

Description

*Please note, only male applicants will be considered for this position.

 
The following departments in FOE are currently seeking full-time faculty:

·         Aviation Engineering

·         Civil Engineering

·         Chemical Engineering

·         Electrical Engineering

·         Industrial Engineering

·         Mechanical Engineering

·         Mining Engineering

·         Nuclear Engineering


Successful candidates will possess the following attributes:

Ø  Solid record of academic and industry experience

Ø  Positive attitude towards maintaining a collaborative work environment

Ø Highly motivated and willing to participate in a wide range of professional development opportunities

Ø Flexible team-players capable of achieving results in a multi-cultural work setting

Ø Possess excellent communication skills in English

 
Requirements

Ø  PhD degree required in the relevant field from an accredited university for the posts of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. Academic rank will be decided based on research record and years of experience

Ø  Master’s degree in the relevant field for the post of Lecturer; candidates with university-level teaching experience will be given priority

Ø  Master’s degree in the relevant field for the post of Lab Technician

Ø  Experience in assessment, as well as curriculum design and development will be strongly considered

 

Ø  Please note, overseas university teaching experience and strong intercultural skills are highly desirable
