TELECOM ENGINEER

Job Requirements:

Minimum S1 from STT Telkom or Reputable University, Majoring in Telecommunication (With GPA min. 2.75)

Min.1- 2 year experience in oil and gas company as Telecom Engineer

Proactive and creative with good command of English and excellent communication

Requirements • Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering or related subject with minimum 10 / 5 years designing, hands-on testing and commissioning Telecommunication systems in one or more of  the   following categories:

- CCTV, Access Control & Intrusion Detection Systems

mo nanya ni,
kalo telco engineer di perusahaan oil & gas jobdescnya apa yah?
bedanya dengan bagian IT bagaimana?

saat ini saya kerja sebagai HLR engineer di salah satu vendor telco di indo.
tugasnya instalasi, maintenance, upgrade dll yang bersifat teknis.

Job Desc nya tergantung di perusahaan apa bergabungnya,

paling tidak ada 3 kategori perusahaan:

 

1) Operator, seperti: Pertamina, Medco, Total, ConocoPhilips, Chevron Texaco (dulu Chevron, Caltex & Unocal76), ExxonMobil, dll.

 

2) Main Contractor EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) kadang2 ditambah Installation, seperti: Tripatra, Rekin, Technip, Saipem, KBR, McDermott, JGC, dll.

 

3) Vendor, perusahaan yg mendukung Main Cont, contohnya banyak, salahsatunya di bidang Telecom adalah kantornya Anas di Singapore.

 

Operator, adalah end user, jadi Job Desc nya lebih di bidang Operational & Maintenance (O&M), dia juga yang menentukan requirement.

 

Main Cont, adalah pemain utama, Job Desc nya adalah menerjemahkan kebutuhan dari Operator dengan membuat desain, menetukan pemilihan teknologi, alat dan vendor.

 

Vendor, job desc nya adalah membuat detail engineering, merangkai dan mengintegrasikan alat HW/SW, test dan instalasi sesuai dengan basic design dari Main Cont.

 

Telecom System apa saja yg terlibat dalam industri Oil & Gas? silahkan refer ke email sebelumnya (di bawah).
