Dear Friends,

I forgot to mention that as it will be Forgiveness Sunday, we shall celebrate Vespers with the Rite of Forgiveness. There will be a short break for refreshments after the Liturgy, then the service of Vespers.

Saturday March 1st

Vespers and confessions - 6.00 pm

Sunday March 2nd

Hours and Divine Liturgy - 10.00 am

Vespers and Rite of Forgiveness - 1.00 pm

It is, of course, very important that forgiveness is real, and not just an empty ritual. So if we are aware that we have offended anyone, we must sincerely ask their forgiveness. Likewise, we must freely forgive everyone who might have offended us, consciously or unconsciously. Only in this way can our Fast be pleasing to God and profitable for our souls.
