Both four-year PhD positions are fully funded and based at the Department of Thematic Studies – Technology and Social Change at Linköping University (Sweden).
- The first PhD student is part of a Swedish national Energy Systems Research School and will study the integration of data-driven decision support and energy modelling in the governance of urban energy transitions from a social science perspective. Relevant educational backgrounds for this position are within social sciences, environmental science, data and media studies or adjacent fields.

- The second PhD student is expected to conduct critical research related to patient involvement in care settings or in health care development. Relevant educational backgrounds for this position are sociology, anthropology, science- and technology studies, political science, or related fields.
