DataLab  Goes to Space with Data Aliens 👾

During this DataLab session, we will create and craft with data to explore critical questions about data. What is data? What are alternative ways to interact with data? How can we consider changing the ways we talk about data? The activity is based on a new exhibit (Data and Me) and on-going workshops at the Visualization Center.  

 

The workshop will begin with an exercise to produce your own, personal dataset, followed by data crafting where we will create playful, unique visualizations. We will conclude the workshop with a discussion around opportunities for using data crafting to provide critical perspectives on data.
