Wiremapping projections .... 3D computer model projected onto a wiretap....please help!!??

Hi I am a third year architecture student at The Bartlett School of Architecture in London.

I have made a wiremap and want to project a 3d model onto it. 

Has anyone done this using processing or similar software? It is a model of a landscape so ideally I need the field depth to clearly depict the foreground and background so there is a sense of the landscape.

I would appreciate any help you can give or any references!! thank you!

Maybe look into blender.
