Check out what IBM's Cognitive Visualization Lab has been doing with it's recently acquired NLP company Alchemy API http://news-explorer.mybluemix.net
From their abstract: "up-to-the-minute news, 250K articles a day, 70K sources—distilling vast unstructured text into entities and concepts, and connecting the dots within a suite of linked data visualizations."
This is a news knowledge platform. Is 21st century journalism going to be about 'vast unstructured text' or about 'entities and concepts'?
