Profiles of state lawmakers in NC

Hey everybody,

I wanted to share a project we just launched for our state political coverage that provides detailed profiles of every sitting state lawmaker in North Carolina.

Now in every story, users can click the names of lawmakers to view donations, missed votes, party loyalty and conflict of interest statements.

It's powered by a Django app called Venus that captures state legislative data from Legiscan and serves it up to a page in our CMS. The code is available on GitHub here, in case any of you are interested in adapting this for your own states.
