Hi All,

I'm the CEO at Timeline, an explainer journalism startup based in San Francisco. We're all about connecting the past and present. Our bet is that we can change the way people think about contemporary issues by highlighting relevant stories, images and data from history. Check out our stories (hosted on Medium) and videos, which we publish on Facebook.

We're beginning to think about how we can augment our content using structured data. I was wondering if any of the folks on this list knew of sources of structured data that relate to historical people, places, events, ideas etc? Any leads would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Jim

Freebase and Wikidata have a lot of that (and are soon to be merged)
