Hi
I work on populations genetic studies and I tried to use command lines for running STRUCTURE. However, I am not able to run several iterations in only one job. It seems to me that we are only able to run iteration by iteration (i.e. one case of K in only one iteration). Is it really the case? Someone can inform me?
Thanks a lot,
Best regards.
Nicolas

The StrAuto script takes care of this deficiency.  http://www.crypticlineage.net/pages/software.html

Thank you Vikram. Your script is very elegant.

Hi, how could I use this script if I am using a server? How does the command line looks like?
Thanks!

Please consult the documentation provided with the script.  That should clarify most questions.  On a computing cluster, your only potential problem would be limited walltime.  Most university computing clusters will impose a walltime, which falls well short of what your structure run will require.  But you can get around that by splitting the 'runstructure' script into individual components.

I can offer further help for specific questions, but I suggest you consult the documentation first.

Note that StrAuto has now moved to github.

Thanks
V
