identify the individuals on the chart

Dear all,

I'm working with fastStructure, and I ran my population structure without any problems...

However, how could I identify the individuals on the chart?

I can only get the populations on the distruct chart, and I needed to know the individuals on the chart as well as.

Can someone help me?

Hi!

If I recall correctly individuals if fastStructure plots are drawn in the same order as they were provided in your input file. You can use that information to identify each individual.

If you need individual names to show up in the plot you need to either edit the `distruct.py` file to plot those for you or use an alternative software for plotting.

I'd recommend using Structure_threader for that, which can plot your individuals' names or designated population names, and has an HTML plot for easy data exploration.
