Hi everyone, thanks for your attention.

I have this situation, I hope someone can help me.

I have a database of ~2500 SNPs I made a DAPC from this database, and I can observe at least two groups, well-defined after I run fastStructure using k from 1 to 5 (I have 5 sampling localities) and fastStructure returns the next result.

Model complexity that maximizes marginal likelihood = 2

Model components used to explain structure in data = 1

After this, I made plots from each Q file, and the plots exhibit a strange pattern, in this pattern each individual has only one component, and there is no mix of components in each individual (attach an image of one of the plots).

Does anyone have this same result on the graph? or how can solution it?

Thanks in advance and have a nice day.

Can you post your admixture coefficients?

Dera brother Marlin I am a beginner of pop. gentics. I think there is no mixing within individuals, it suggests separation between the genetic components or clusters. This may indicate relatively distinct genet ic groups within your population or database.
Please correct me I am wrong
