Since Version 3 of structure, quick transformation are available.

How can I safe my filters an place the in the "quick transformation" bar?

Hi Ulrich,

User-adjustable quick transformations are being developed right now, you can expect them in Structure 3.3 or in Structure 3.4 within coming months. 

You will be able to drag-and-drop manually created transformations onto the “Quick Transformation” banner. These transformations will be shared with everyone who’s got access to the structure being displayed. You will need to have “Control” access level for a structure to be able to define quick filters for it.

as this feature hasn't been implemented in Structure 3.3 (at least the Release Notes don't mention it...):

• Will this feature come with Structure 3.4 and do you have a target date for its release?

Because we'd also love to get this thing...

One remark to what you've written in your email ("... These transformations will be shared with everyone who’s got access to the structure ..."): We are using one structure for my project team which consists of several sub-teams. Every sub-team needs own filters e. g. if they want to highlight tasks of a certain sub-team member or of the whole sub-team. So shared Quick Transformations for all will lead to lots of transformations in the Quick Transformation banner.

I'd greatly appreciate if you could implement a finer granularity of access rights for the Quick Transformations.

Hi Ulrik,

Yes, unfortunately we had to delay this feature until Structure 3.4 to provide better quality. The work is being finalized now.

Regarding granularity: we won't be able to implement finer granularity right away, I'm afraid. From your description it's not even clear, what should define the set of quick transformation for a given user -- does each user configure it for him/herself? If it's a shared configuration, how is "team" figured out by Structure and who has the right to change the team's set of filters? How does that play with different structures? (Most customers have multiple structures.)

With per-structure quick transforms configuration it is much simpler, and the users should get the concept quicker.

There's one trick that you can do to work around this. You can create a separate structure for each team and then use Sub-structure inserter to have each of those structures actually show your main structure. The content will be the same, but the settings, such as quick transformations or preferred views, will be configurable for each team structure.
