Dear friends,

This is the cause of a Cancer Patient which needs your attention. Soumyadeep Haldar is a 17 years old boy suffering from Blood Cancer (or Leukemia) and is currently being treated at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai. He is nephew of Mr. Biswanath Dikshit who is a contractual staff in the Ranbir and Chitra Gupta School of Infrastructure Design and Management (RCGSIDM), IIT Kharagpur. Soumyadeep has been studying in 12th standard with Hijli High School. His full treatment will cost more than INR 12 lakhs and his family is having a tough time in raising the money. 

Hereby, I request you to kindly help in raising money for the unfortunate boy as he is also a part of extended IIT-KGP family and contribute in saving a life. It will be great to reach the students (across all levels, using the communication-platform of TSG), faculty, and non-faculty alike and raise money, as even a small amount will make a big difference to him. Please find enclosed a notice, in this regard, requesting donation, forwarded by Prof. (Dr.) Joy Sen, ex-President (TSG), and Head, RCGSIDM.
