Installation of structr in ubuntu

hi,

I tried to install the structr in my pc .

I downloaded the .deb file from the official site

and try to install using command line , but after "sudo service structr start"

the system shows nothing while the

status is active .

how can i open the app in desktop, please provide any document file for installation if there is any

As commented on SO, what does "sudo service structr status" return?

Also, what are the contents of /var/log/structr.log ?

Also, did you try opening the URL “http://localhost:8082/structr” in your browser on that machine?

That is where a default installation will be can be found.

at the end of the structr.log file it throws null pointer exception,  please guide i'm a beginner

Hi,

thank you for the log file - this helped me debug the problem.

That should not happen and I have filed an internal bug report to fix that problem.

As a workaround for you, you could install an eval license. I attached such a license file.

The log lines before the ones that you provided are the most interesting…

But this looks like there is no Neo4j instance running to connect to.

Could that be the case?
